Bukovel is the most expensive destination
In Bukovel (Polyanytsia), the median cost of renting a house is UAH 4,000 per day, or about $100. Over the year, the price has practically not changed.
Tatariv remains the second most expensive — UAH 3,925 ($98) per day. Over the course of a year, rent here has risen in price by approximately 5% — from UAH 3,750.
At the same time, the situation in Verkhovyna is the opposite. The median price fell from UAH 2,500 to UAH 750 per day, that is, by approximately 70%. This is the lowest indicator among the analyzed directions.
Prices at popular resorts
In the middle price segment, the dynamics were also heterogeneous.
Slavsko and Mykulychyn — UAH 3,000/day, +20% per year.
Kosiv — UAH 3,000, +50%.
Pylypets — UAH 3 thousand, -14%.
Skole — UAH 2,800, +22%.
Dear brother — UAH 2,800, against UAH 900 last year.
Yaremche — UAH 2,500, +25%.
Vorokhta — UAH 2,000, +10%.
Volovets — UAH 2,000, against UAH 900 a year earlier.
So, in some tourist locations, prices have increased several times, while in other directions, on the contrary, rent has become cheaper.
Why are the prices so different?
Experts associate significant fluctuations primarily with by changing the number and structure of offers.
If more budget houses appear on the platform, this can significantly reduce the median value even without a large-scale drop in prices for expensive properties.
Therefore, a sharp decrease in the price of rent in Verkhovyna does not necessarily mean that all houses there have become cheaper. The indicator could be influenced by a change in the set of available offers.
The Carpathians remain an expensive tourist destination
At the same time, the difference between the resorts shows how much the popularity of the location, the tourist flow and the level of supply affect the price.
Bukovel, with a price of about UAH 4,000 per day, remains the most expensive option, while Verhovyna, at a median price of UAH 750, is significantly more profitable for those looking for budget vacations.
We will remind you that in the first half of 2026, the cost of long-term housing rental in Ukraine also increased significantly. Uzhhorod remains the leader in terms of the price of renting a one-room apartment.
