Income tax revenues increased by almost 19% in half a year

Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk region paid the most personal income tax

The largest revenues were provided by the payers of Kyiv — UAH 82.7 billion. It is followed by Dnipropetrovsk region with UAH 33.9 billion, Lviv region with UAH 24.1 billion, and Kyiv region with UAH 21.7 billion.

Local budgets received more than UAH 166 billion

From the total amount of revenues, UAH 166.2 billion was directed to local budgets. Compared to the first half of 2025, this indicator increased by 20.5%, which strengthened the financial capabilities of communities to finance education, medicine, social protection, infrastructure development and other local programs.

Personal income tax remains one of the key taxes

The State Tax Service emphasizes that personal income tax remains one of the main sources of filling budgets, primarily local ones. It is at the expense of this tax that a significant part of the expenses of the communities is financed, and the growth of revenues indicates the strengthening of their financial capacity.
