According to "Ukrenergo", as of 09:30 in the morning, current consumption was already at 1.2% higher, than at the same time the day before. Due to mass switching on of air conditioners, the power system needs unloading.
🛑 What restrictions will apply:
For industry: power limit graphs.
For household consumers: hourly outages (in the amount of 0.5 to 1 shift) at the specified evening time (17:00–22:00).
🤕 Bad weather and enemy shelling: where there is still no light
In addition to planning restrictions, the situation is complicated by other factors:
Consequences of shelling: due to the attacks of the Russian Federation, as of this morning, there is a blackout in the Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. Where the security situation allows, emergency teams are already working.
Bad weather: gusty winds and thunderstorms led to power outages approx 600 settlements in 8 regions of Ukraine.
Importantly: The day before, CEO of Yasno Serhiy Kovalenko called on Ukrainians to be ready for any scenario, keep power banks charged and save electricity as much as possible, as the energy system will work in an extremely busy mode in the coming days.
