The most desirable level of income for most Ukrainians is from 25 to 50 thousand UAH per month.
However, they actually receive such a salary only 9–18% of the population depending on the region.
In Kyiv financial situation is the best: 38.1% of residents consider a comfortable income 25–50 thousand UAH, but they really have it less than 19%. Yet almost 23% of Kyiv residents would like to earn 50–70 thousand UAH, although they receive such incomes less than 10%.
In most regions, more than half of the population lives on up to UAH 15,000 per month.
While such an income is only considered comfortable 6–10% of respondents. The highest level of low incomes was recorded in central Ukraine, where almost 68% of people earn less than UAH 15,000.
IN northern, western, eastern and southern regions most people also seek to receive 25–50 thousand UAH per month, but they really have such an income only 7–14% of residents. Yet 15–21% of Ukrainians they dream of a salary 50–70 thousand UAH, although in fact it is received only 2–4% of the population.
