A new logistics center opened near Chisinau
Nova Post opened the largest logistics terminal in Moldova, which is located near Chisinau. The area of the new complex is 3.8 thousand square meters, and its capacity allows processing up to 10 thousand parcels every hour. Within one logistics hub, the company has combined all the main processes — from the sorting of shipments to their customs clearance.
The new terminal accelerated the delivery of parcels
Since the launch of the new center, the average delivery time has been reduced by about two hours. In addition, Nova Post has increased the frequency of logistics flights: long-distance transportation is now carried out twice a day, and parcels are delivered to branches every 2.5 hours.
The throughput reaches tens of thousands of shipments
Currently, about 35,000 parcels pass through the new logistics terminal every day. At the same time, the company has already recorded a peak rate of 80,000 shipments per day. The hub serves both domestic deliveries within the territory of Moldova and international transportation.
The first Nova Post fulfillment hub was launched in Moldova
Together with the logistics terminal, the company opened the first fulfillment center in Moldova. It provides online stores with a full range of services for storing goods, completing orders and sending them to customers.
Thanks to the new infrastructure, orders placed before 01:00 can be delivered to customers across the country the very next morning. One of the first partners of the new center was a Ukrainian brand that started working on the Moldovan market.
Investments amounted to €800,000
Nova Post allocated 800,000 euros for the creation of a modern logistics complex. The next stage of the company's development in Moldova will be the opening of another sorting center in the city of Bielce, which will allow to further increase the speed and volume of delivery.
Nova Post continues to expand its European network
Today, Nova Post Europe delivers between Ukraine and the countries of the European Union, and also operates on the intra-European market. The company's representative offices are already open in 13 countries, and the network includes more than 35,500 service points, including 93 own branches.
The company continues to invest in the development of logistics infrastructure abroad. Earlier, Nova Post reported investing more than 6 million Czech crowns in the expansion of its own network in the Czech Republic, where dozens of branches and thousands of partner delivery points already operate.
