The total volume of exports decreased
According to the Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club (UKAB), in June Ukraine exported 4.79 million tons of agricultural products.
Despite the reduction of monthly volumes by 7.5%, the country continues to have significant reserves of products intended for export, primarily grain crops.
Cereals remain the basis of Ukrainian exports
Grain crops traditionally occupied the largest share in the structure of agricultural exports. In June, they were shipped 3.56 million tons, which is only 0.1% less than in May.
The main export crop remained corn, which formed 55.3% of all grain supplies. The share of wheat was 43.9%, and barley - 0.7%.
Oilseeds supplies decreased the most
The most noticeable drop was recorded in the segment of oil crops. During the month, their export decreased by 51.4% — to 157.2 thousand tons.
The export structure was dominated by soybeans, which accounted for 70.8% of deliveries. The share of rape was 24.4%, and sunflower - 3.1%.
The supply of vegetable oil and cakes decreased
The export of vegetable oils in June also showed a significant decrease — by 33.5%, to 308.2 thousand tons.
The largest share of supplies was provided by sunflower oil — 78.7%. Soybean oil occupied 15.8%, and rapeseed oil - 5.4%.
In addition, the export of cake after the removal of vegetable oils decreased by 13.9% and amounted to 359 thousand tons. Soybean cake made up 71.7% of the main volume, while sunflower provided 28.3% of supplies.
Other types of agricultural production also showed a decline
Deliveries of other types of agricultural products in June amounted to 404.7 thousand tons, which is 2% less compared to May.
Thus, a reduction in exports was observed in almost all major product categories, although the grain segment remained relatively stable.
Ukraine ends the season with a decrease in individual export indicators
It was previously reported that in the 2025/26 marketing season, Ukraine exported 1.9 million tons of rapeseed, which is 39% less than a year earlier.
In addition, as of June 19, the export of grain and leguminous crops in the current marketing year reached almost 36 million tons, which is 4.1 million tons or 10% less compared to the same period of the previous season.
