Which taxes brought in the most funds
Tax and customs payments remain the main source of filling the budget. In seven months, he provided the largest income value added tax on imported goods, which brought the budget UAH 377.6 billion.
It became the second in terms of volume personal income tax together with military levy — UAH 225.8 billion. Simultaneously corporate income tax provided more UAH 193.1 billion.
They also became important sources of income VAT on goods produced in Ukraine — UAH 190.8 billion, excise tax — UAH 180.3 billion, dividends and part of the net profit of state-owned enterprises — UAH 51.5 billion, customs payments — UAH 37 billion, as well as rent for the use of subsoil — UAH 29.2 billion.
International support continues to play a key role
In addition to internal revenues, a significant part of the state budget revenues was provided by Ukraine's international partners.
In seven months, grant aid amounted to UAH 569.6 billion, and the National Bank of Ukraine transferred it to the budget in April and May UAH 146.1 billion part of your profit.
In general, it was the combination of tax revenues, international support, and NBU funds that made it possible to ensure stable financing of public expenditures.
Borrowing and OVDP
The actual volume of state loans to the general fund of the budget for January-July amounted to UAH 607.9 billion, which corresponds to 58.8% of the planned indicator.
Of them UAH 299.4 billion the state attracted through placement domestic state loan bonds (OVDP), including UAH 55 billion — in foreign currency.
Yet UAH 119.4 billion was obtained thanks to the issue military OVDP, which remain one of the important instruments of financing the state budget during the war.
Which international organizations provided funding
External sources provided Ukraine UAH 308.5 billion, or close to 7 billion dollars.
The largest amounts came from:
- International Monetary Fund — UAH 96.14 billion;
- European Union within the program Ukraine Facility — UAH 126.13 billion;
- World Bank (IBRD) — funds to support public administration, private sector development, education, social protection and recovery programs;
- financing within international programs SURGE, LEARN and SPIRIT.
These funds are used to finance budget needs, support the economy, social programs, and implement projects for the country's reconstruction.
Expenditure of the budget and receipts of the EUS
At the end of seven months cash expenditures of the state budget amounted to UAH 3.43 trillion, of which UAH 2.58 trillion accrued to the general fund.
Besides, receipt of the single social contribution (USC) to the Pension Fund and social insurance funds during this period reached UAH 436.2 billion, in particular UAH 65.5 billion was paid only in July.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the budget continues to be replenished both at the expense of domestic revenues and thanks to international financial support, which remains one of the key sources of financing state needs in wartime conditions.
